Seeds from Arthropodium milleflorum Pale Vanilla Lily. This evergreen soft-wooded perennial that has tufted leaves and small pale lilac, mauve, or white flowers. Tolerant of very moist even boggy conditions or well drained soils in hilly and rocky areas. Tubers of fleshy, fibrous, tuber-like roots are edible raw.
