4-6 inch plant of Aristolochia tomentosa or Wooly pipevine and is a larval plant for the pipe vine swallowtail butterfly. Growing in part to full shade this twining, high climbing vine often grown to cover sun porches, verandas, pillars, posts, trellises, arbors, fences or walls and is capable of a height of 75 feet in trees. The greenish/yellow blossoms covered with fine matted maroon hairs are in bloom from May through June. Hardy in zone 5 to 9.
