A Starter Plant of the tropical tender perennial vine called Aristolochia ridicula. This exotic vine is in the dutchmans pipevine family, and is hardy in zones 8a to 10b. It blossoms best in light shade and will stay evergreen all year in the above zones. A real attraction with its 2 inch triangle shaped maroon blossoms and furry like leaves and stem. The plants will grow up to 10 feet if you let them climb on a structure. I do not use any chemicals on my plants and therefore at certain times of the year you are able to find nibbles here and there on this, and most of the host plants for butterflies.
