Seeds of Aristolochia ordoratissia or fragrant pipevine. This is a wonderful addition to any fragrant garden or vine collection. A smallish climbing plant growing up to only 5 feet with heart-shaped leaves and fragrant, pinkish to dark purple flowers having a yellow center, widely distributed on forest edges or in disturbed sites from southern Mexico to Argentina. Easily grown in hardiness zones 9-11. A tea made from the leaves of this plant is effective to treat snakebites.
