Seeds of Areca triandra or wild areca palm. It is used mainly as an ornamental plant. It is native to India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Flowers are pale yellow with green stalks, formed below the crownshaft. Stems are clustered, 10-15 feet tall with slender stems and green 1-2 inch stilt roots. Hardy in zones 10 -11.
