Seeds from this hard to find small shrub Arctostaphylos Rosei tomentosa woolly leaf manzanita, woollyleaf manzanita or brittle leaf mamzanita. This low-lying, spreading manzanita, generally quite a bit wider 3 to 8 feet than it is tall 5 feet. The flowers are white to pink and may be hairy or hairless inside. This uncommon manzanita has smooth gray bark. Hardy to 25 degrees. This drought tolerant shrub prefers full sun. Zones 6 to 11.
