Starter plant of this wonderful Alcea rosea Nigra an eye catching 6 foot tall biennial hardy in zones 3 to 9. These single blossoms are in many shades of the deepest maroon black color. These are biennials that bloom in July thru September in full sun and reseed readily for next year.
