Seeds from these wonderful Alcea rosea Nigra an eye catching 6 foot tall biennial hardy in zones 3 to 9. No pretreatment necessary, just sow seeds just below the soil surface at 70 degrees and water. These single blossoms are in many shades of the deepest maroon/black color. These are biennials that bloom in July to September in full sun and reseed readily for next year.
