Quart Plant from Brugmansia suaveolens yellow. The yellow brugmansia suaveolens is a small shrub with very fast growth and a very spectacular yellow flowering. Its port is set up with greenish grey sheets, broad ovals of 15 to 20 cm with a velvety aspect. The yellow flowers are from 20 to 30 cm length and bloom from May until the frosts. They have the characteristics of a trumpet, with 5 lobes. In summer, it must remain outside, protected from the wind preferably. The brugmansia is a good plant for a veranda because it needs sun all year. The brugmansia will live many years if it is wintered in a place like a cellar or a garage. In open ground the stock can resist until around -10C and start again in spring of the following year. Mulching on the surface will give you a better chance for its recovery. Germination advice would be to soak seeds 24 hours in warm tepid water. Zones 8 to 11.
