Lilium pyrenaicum ssp. carniolicum var. bosniacum

seeds of Lilium pumilum or Siberian Turks Cap Lily. This 1-3 foot lily has sealing wax red, black-spotted flowers which are extremely fragrant in sping through early summer when it blooms. A wonderful performer in shady areas in zones 4-8. Underground bulbs multiply yearly to put on a bigger show each year.

Lilium pyrenaicum Yellow Turks Cap lily

seeds of Lilium pyrenaicum Yellow Turks Cap lily. This lily grows 12-36" tall in zones 4-7 and blossoms early to mid summer and prefers full sun to part shade. The blossoms are down turned, cup-shaped, golden petals that sometimes will curl around at the tips of the petals. A clump-forming true species lily with green stems, sometimes spotted purple. Lilium superbum

Turk's-cap Lily or Lilium superbum. Turk's-cap lily flowers have a green star at the center, which makes a good identifying mark for this plant. The green star will distinguish Turk's-cap lily from tiger lily (Lilium trigrinum), a plant from Asia that sometimes escapes from gardens. Prefers wet meadowa and woods where it grows 3 7 feet tall and prefers full sun. These orange blossoms are 2 1/2 inches across are in full bloom from July to September.
