Ponytail palm or Beaucarnea recurvata, theyl can get up to 30 ft tall and the base up to 12 ft across, but houseplants generally remain less than 6-8 ft tall. Larkspur violet (also commonly called purple prairie violet or prairie violet) is native from Saskatchewan to Ohio south to Oklahoma and Arkansas. Red Rhipsalis which is one of my favorite and eye-catching hanging basket plants. This Rhipsales ramulosa is part of the cactus family but has not prickers. It is a very fast grower and will eventually have to be divided as it out grows even a 12 inch pot. These 8 inch hanging stems produce tiny white ball-like blossoms that are a wonderful contrast with the bright red stems. Water well during the growing period, and sparingly in winter.

The plant is also known as Mexican Petunia and the pink is a very hard color to find color in this plant. The plants, when covered with masses of these 1 inch flowers, give your garden a bright spot always. They grow to 30 and can fill in a dry and sunny area in no time at all.
