the most fragrant jasmine plant in the world (Cestrun nocturnum). This shrub produces masses of lovely white blossoms in the summer that will cover the plant. During the day, there is absolutely no fragrance but as soon as the sun goes down, an area within 30 feet of this plant is covered with an sweet intoxicating fragrance. This plant is a very fast grower and this 6"- 8" plant will produce blossoms this year and can reach 5 feet high and 4 feet across. This plant does overwinter outside in my zone 8B area but does usually lose all its leaves if we have a killing frost, but comes back to blossom again in the summer.
