EASTER EGG TREE- Solanum ovigerum

15 seeds of this very unusual plant that is part of the eggplant family, although I have never eaten it. This is a real show stopper, especially in the late spring if you can keep them growing through the winter. I dip a cup of easter egg coloring around each egg to give them all pastel colors. The grandchildren are always amazed. The are exactly the same growning directions as any eggplant, just start inside late winter and put out when all danger of frost passes. Easter Egg Tree, actual chicken sized "eggs" that change from green to white to deep yellow. Grows to about 2 feet tall and spreads about 12 inches. I always offer discounts on shipping. Seeds are $1.25 for up to 8 packs. If for any reason you are not 100% pleased with your purchase, please e-mail me and I will gladly replace anything at my cost. I answer my e-mails everyday(if at all possible) and would love to hear from you with any problems. This is only a hobby for me because I love plants so much and want to share what I love with others. Thank you so much for looking at my storeLori

seeds of Gloriousa Lily plantii, also know as Climbing Lily or Flame Lily. A very rare find is this bright tangerine/orange variety. A vining type plant that will grow up to 5 feet high if you give it something to climb on. Very unusual in that the tips of the leaves actually turn into little tentacles at the ends and twine onto anything that they can. Each plant produces between 3 and 9 blossoms at a time. At least 6 hours of sunshine a day is required to get the best blooms. Fairly drought tolerant and pretty much carefree and pest free when finally established. Hardy to zone 8 and 9, will die back to the ground with extended cold temperatures but will grow right back in the spring.

seeds of Nicotiana tabacum. Nicotiana tabacum or tobacco, a native of Tropical America is the plant that is cultivated as the principal source of tobacco. Tobacco has been cultivated since pre-Colombian times. Plants will reach 3-10 foot in containers and is quite showy when in bloom. Nicotiana tabacum needs a well drained, rich soil mix with full sun to partial shade. We use a soil mix consisting of 2 parts peat moss to 2 parts loam to 1 part sand or perlite. The soil should be kept evenly moist for optimum growth. They do not tolerate drought in containers. The plants are fertilized weekly throughout the year with a balanced fertilizer used at full strength. Spent flower heads should be removed to keep the plant blooming; they can become weedy if this is not done and ultimately die off.

seeds of Zinnia Zowie Yellow Flame. This was 2006 All-America Selection winner! Zowie! is a Zinnia with several layers of bright petals surrounding a big central red-and-yellow cone. When the petals open, they're bold magenta-pink with yellow tips, and the pink gradually turns to rich red, giving you all 3 colors at once in a garden planting! Flowers measure 3 to 5 inches wide, so you really get a huge display of color from even a small planting. These plants are a good size for cutflowers, 30 to 36 inches tall and about 24 to 27 inches wide.
